Cathy & Pete's Autumn Wedding at Hilltop Country House

Cathy and Pete’s October wedding was everything you’d hope for when imagining your dream Autumn day. The venue was bursting with vibrant red and orange leaves, which covered the country house, making it the perfect backdrop for Cathy and Pete’s ceremony.

With our October weddings, we always have high hopes for an outdoor ceremony with the terrace being the ideal setting, offering a hard surface for chairs and your aisle. The sun was warm and the skies a bright blue, so Cathy and Pete were able to enjoy a beautiful ceremony conducted by celebrant Emma, which included acoustic music sung and played by Cathy’s brother.

Their ceremony was celebrated with espresso martinis, Guinness, a champagne tower and plenty of canapés.

As a very talented illustrator, Cathy designed all of her own wedding stationery and had full creative control on the wedding decorations. Hilltop Country House was turned into an autumnal landscape of seasonal florals, pampas grass and pumpkins with every corner you turned. Sarah from North & Flower brought Cathy and Pete’s floral ideas to life with all British-grown flowers forming the most stunning and colourful bouquet, aisle flowers, button holes and table centre pieces.

The whole day, from start to finish, had a joyful and radiant atmosphere, which not only created the most gorgeously natural photos but meant each and every guest was on a lively and upbeat vibe.

Cathy and Pete’s day was captured by Sasha Morgan. Sasha captured the love and warmth of the day and their relationship, highlighting the magic of Hilltop at this time of year.

The day seamlessly concluded with plenty of live music, dancing, sparklers and an electric sunset!
