Welcome to the Hilltop family

Once a family home for many years, the Hilltop team have taken on this family ethos in their close team relationship and all couples who spend their special day with us become part of the Hilltop family. Every single member of our team plays a pivotal part during the planning process and on your wedding day. This may be behind the scenes or present with you through it all to create a day that is seamless and perfect to you.

The Wedding Team

Clare, Olivia, Leah, Emma & Iain

The wedding team is led by General Manager Iain and in his team is Sales and Events Managers Clare, Leah and Emma and Marketing Manager, Olivia.

A warm welcome always awaits from a member of the wedding team, from your very first visit to the last goodbyes on the morning after your wedding, the wedding team are there for you every step of the way. One member of the wedding team will plan and coordinate your wedding day, with regular meetings and conversations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time. They will create your visions and ideas into a reality so that your wedding is exactly how you imagined it to be.

The Kitchen Team

Simon, Naomi and Paul

Simon heads up the Hilltop’s culinary team who are guaranteed to serve food that will have your guests wanting more! Simon, Naomi and Paul are accompanied by a large team of excellent service staff. Working together to create an unforgettable wedding dining experience. All of our chefs are incredibly talented, thrive off the buzz of a wedding service and are always up for a culinary challenge.

Executive Chef

Executive Chef Paul is a two times winner of the coveted Michelin star, is an accomplished author and has been seen on your screens many times. He brings a wealth of knowledge in the food industry, creative ideas and skills to the Hilltop catering team. The team at Hilltop inspire him as he works with new people on a different project that is a contrast from his city cheffing!

The Bar Team

Tom & Luca

Senior Bar Supervisors Tom and Luca look after all things drinks during the lead up to and on your wedding day. They also manage an amazing team of talented bar staff and mixologists. Together, they ensure that the only hiccups come from the delicious drinks! The team will always have a bar wherever you may be, you’re always topped up and excel when creating wild and wonderful signature cocktails.

Director of Music

Emil

Emil has a vast experience of DJ’ing for over 40 years. Not only is he our resident DJ and MC but Emil looks after all thing’s music through your wedding planning and on your big day, that also includes the care of any external bands or musicians. This is YOUR day so Emil will play whatever music you desire.

The Gardening Team

Craig, Ethan & Al

The team behind the breath-taking gardens… one of the many reasons why couples book Hilltop. Maintained all year round by Head Gardener Craig and his team, the Hilltop grounds and gardens are simply beautiful. Come rain or shine, the gardening team are there putting the lines in the lawns, a pop of colour in the flower beds and maintaining the fresh produce from the Hilltop herb garden and orchard.

We couldn’t begin your wedding without our amazing housekeeping team, Laura and Kirsty. The first to arrive to ensure all of your wedding items have been gathered together safely ready for you to take home on the morning after your wedding. The ones who keep Hilltop Country House spotless and looking its absolute best at all times.
