Once a family home for many years, the Hilltop team have taken on this family ethos in their close team relationship and all couples who spend their special day with us become part of the Hilltop family. Every single member of our team plays a pivotal part during the planning process and on your wedding day. This may be behind the scenes or present with you through it all to create a day that is seamless and perfect to you.

Beth
Sales & Events Manager
As the first person you speak to from your initial enquiry, Beth is there for you whenever you need and will take you from start to finish throughout your Hilltop journey. Beth has been in the wedding industry for 10 years working her way through various roles in different venues and has found the perfect spot at Hilltop doing what she loves most…managing your special day. Beth is super organised and precise in her role, but she also has a super soft side. You may see her with a tear in her eye on your wedding day, but if you bring along your dog, she may shed even more tears… Beth is a BIG dog lover!
Clare
Sales & Events Manager
As Hilltop was once Clare’s family home, you could say this is her bread and butter! From 2009 when Hilltop completed their first wedding, Clare has been here through it all. Her extensive wedding experience means she has great knowledge so that your Hilltop wedding will run faultlessly. Clare loves showing new couples round Hilltop, seeing their faces light up as she shows them all that Hilltop has to offer… you can really tell in their smiles that they love Hilltop just as much as we all do. Their enthusiasm and awe are just the same as Clare’s when she also fell in love with Hilltop back in 1985.
Olivia
Sales & Marketing Executive
Starting as a waitress 7 years ago, Olivia now takes care of all of Hilltop’s marketing, that includes the Hilltop’s website, social media accounts, magazine and newspaper editorials, your gorgeous wedding packs and lots more! Olivia has seen many weddings from all different angles, from the kitchen, bar and organising point of view. She helps in all areas… but with her creative mindset, one of her favourites is all of the pretty decorations so she can Instagram and TikTok it all!
Iain
Head Chef
Iain heads up our culinary team at Hilltop and has done for nearly 10 years. He is an extremely talented chef and with his excellent wedding catering experience and kind and caring nature, Iain is the perfect man to design, discuss and deliver your wedding breakfast menu. He really enjoys watching the team develop, trying out new ideas and dishes and building relationships with our Hilltop couples, suppliers and every Hilltop team member.
Paul
Executive Chef
Executive Chef Paul is a two times winner of the coveted Michelin star, is an accomplished author and has been seen on your screens many times. As well as spending time at Hilltop maintaining our 5-star food service, Paul also owns and runs two award-winning gastro pubs in London. He brings a wealth of knowledge in the food industry, creative ideas and skills to the Hilltop catering team. Paul really looks forward to working at Hilltop, escaping the busyness of London city to the glorious Cheshire countryside. The team at Hilltop inspire him as he works with new people on a different project that is a contrast from his city restaurant.
Simon
Sous Chef
Simon found his love for cooking during lockdown when him and his wife opened a meal prep business delivering meals nationwide. He has an innovative mindset, is always up for a challenge and loves working alongside Iain and Paul, taking his culinary skills to the next level through delicious wedding food. Simon gets a real buzz of a successful service, knowing that they have exceeded the guests’ expectations through the kind reviews and all those clean plates that come back into the kitchen!
Cameron
Bar Manager
After working within the Hilltop bar team for many years, Cameron always knew that one day he would love to manage the wedding drinks and team himself. Cameron has 13 years of experience in the beverage industry and with his large team of mixologists, bar tenders and waiting on staff, together they will bring you tasty drinks and impeccable service. Cameron will also be there throughout the planning process for all your drinks questions and queries and to organise your desired wedding drinks. Cameron excels in creating signature cocktails so throw over your favourite flavours and spirits and he will create a drink that you’ll never forget.
Alex
Bar Supervisor
Alex has been within the drinks and bar industry for 5 years now, over the years he has worked in a mixture of high-end bars that offer a fine-dining experience and local, smaller boutique bars not too far from Hilltop. Alex is now thriving in his new role as Hilltop’s bar supervisor where he can utilise skills learnt from his previous bar work into a venue that has the perfect balance of first-class service with a trendy city-style and offering. Alex admits that the best part of crafting and serving drinks is the drinking part, but he loves meeting new people, getting to know the couple and their guests and having a good old chat to ensure he’s serving up their favourite.
Craig
Head Gardner
Craig has been in the horticultural sector for 20 years. He found his passion for the industry when he started working at a local garden centre where he first learnt all about plants, their origins and Latin names. Over the years, Craig has been in various gardening maintenance roles including owning his own business for 10 years. Like many of our couples and visitors, Craig fell in love with the Hilltop gardens and as they grow bigger and better, he manages the gardening team who work tirelessly for your picture-perfect wedding backdrop. You’ll always see Craig with a great big smile on his face… he loves the buzz from being within nature and always goes home from Hilltop satisfied and fulfilled.
Craig works closely alongside Martin. As once Martin’s family home, he knows the Hilltop’s gardens like the back of his hand after helping to maintain the gardens since 1985 so he is the perfect person for Craig to bounce all of his wonderful ideas off.
