Myself and my wife were so delighted with our wedding day at Hilltop. Clare and her team were kind, welcoming and professional to a fault; we felt she genuinely cared about us as a couple, not just as customers. They were really accommodating of some of our more unusual (!) Requests; setting up a play area for the child guests, our sweet jar centre pieces for pick and mixing during the ceremony, our street food buffet and our ceiliadh band. The grounds were beautiful and all our guests enjoyed wondering through them and particularly the children being able to blow off energy! As a lesbian couple we felt respected and treated as an equal at all times, which was sadly not always our experience when touring other venues. They suited our relaxed, informal vibe very well and all guests were full of praise for the bar staff servers, delicious pizzas and wonderful spring pimms. Thank you!

Wow, well what can we say, there are just not enough words to describe the kind of day we had with you. Our wedding could not have been more perfect, such a big thank you to you ALL. Special thanks go to Clare for all her patience, with our little things, that meant so much to us! To Iain for his amazing food, and pulling off our ultimate wedding meal, then doing it all again in the evening. Finally, to Cameron for his ingenious cocktail designs that were absolute winners. Please thank all the waiting and bar staff and people behind the scenes for us, without them it would have not have been the same! Your staff are polite, efficient, and calm, nothing was too much trouble at any point of the day. From the moment we decided it was a yes to spend our Day at Hilltop you have all been so lovely. You even arranged the sunshine just as you said you would! Everyone- and that really means every one of our guests were blown away with Hilltop’s home, and had the most wonderful day in your garden, it just all slotted together seamlessly, that meant lots of work for you all though, and we really do appreciate it.

We are SO glad we chose Hilltop for our wedding. The day was more special than we could ever have hoped for. Clare was very organised throughout. Being able to come to open days and the tasting event prior to our wedding was amazing. Olivia set up all my decor perfectly on the day. The gardens and outside seating area are stunning. The walk up the aisle through the garden seeing everyone up on the terrace was absolutely incredible. There are so many beautiful areas in the garden for photos. The food was impeccable, and the cocktails and bar staff were amazing. And don’t get us started on the freshly cooked pizza in the evening!! Cannot recommend highly enough.

We had the best day ever and we couldn’t have done it without you. Everything was so well organised and executed, the day ran so smoothly and each one of our guests had the best day (a lot of people have said the best wedding ever). All the food was absolutely amazing and thank you for perfectly creating what we hoped for! The dance floor was packed all night which is exactly what we wanted and the boogie room was a huge hit-someone said it was like being in a nightclub with all your best friends!

We have also been named within the top 10 Best Wedding Venues in Cheshire over the past 3 years at The North West Wedding Awards.
We have received multiple awards from Bridebook including a Gold Award for Best of Bridebook 2023, County Champion and our Head Chef Iain won Best-In House Caterer 2023. In 2024, we were selected as one of the most incredible wedding professionals as awarded by Hitched. Our excellent B&B bedrooms have been award-winning 3 years in a row for 2022, 2023 and 2024.
