We got married in July at the magical Hilltop. Our wedding was just perfect. The house, garden and the marquee are looking more beautiful than ever and the outdoor bar and pizza oven are such an amazing addition. Clare looked after us so well and calmed any nerves we had in the build up,she is immensely organised and clearly treats each wedding with great care and pride. I cannot praise her enough. Every one of my friends that I have seen since we married say how incredible the food was, they have all repeatedly mentioned how much they loved it. Iain is an amazing chef.
We were thrilled with the wonderful bar service and such a wide variety of choice and we loved having our own personalised wedding cocktail, such a charming individual touch to our wedding day. We recommend Hilltop Country House so highly. Your wedding is one of the biggest and most important days of your life and when you marry at Hilltop it will be the day you’ve both been dreaming of.

As soon as we saw Hilltop we knew it was the venue for us. There really is no other venue like it! The grounds are beautiful and so well maintained. If you’re looking for elegance, beauty and a team that will treat you like family, then you’ve found it! Clare was incredible and went out of her way to tailor our wedding to how we wanted it. She was so easy to contact and so organised. Chef Iain created a menu just for us and it was amazing! Our friends and family can’t stop talking about the day and we’ve created such incredible memories. We really couldn’t have been happier and we’re eternally grateful to all the amazing staff for everything they did for us. I honestly wish we could do it all over again – and I’d pick Hilltop every time!

Starting from the breakfast in the room…they are professionals and also amazing people. They will make it the best day for you, they just know how. I wish we could do our wedding every year! We had the best day ever and we couldn’t have done it without you. Everything was so well organised and executed, the day ran so smoothly and each one of our guests had the best day (a lot of people have said the best wedding ever). All the food was absolutely amazing and thank you for perfectly creating what we hoped for! The dance floor was packed all night which is exactly what we wanted and the boogie room was a huge hit-someone said it was like being in a nightclub with all your best friends!

We received a Gold Award for Best of Bridebook 2023 and Bridebook County Champion 2022, both awarded from our amazing reviews. Head Chef Iain won the Best In-House Caterer Award 2023 from Bridebook for his dedication to couples and hard work in creating bespoke menus. Additionally, we have two Booking.com Traveller Review Awards 2022 and 2023, also from the 5-star reviews left by staying guests.
